CURATOR’S VIEW: The abstract painting “Expressions” features a golden spiral formed around a central point. Through its spinning, it melts everything around, the old habits, represented by the white, brown and dark red matter and replaces them with a fresh new shining gold essence that starts developing from the left side to the right, an array of expressive brush strokes and a vivid interplay of colours. Dominant hues of blue, red, yellow, and white create a striking contrast, while subtle touches of green and orange add complexity to the composition. The painting's texture is rich and varied, with thick, impasto techniques giving a tactile, three-dimensional quality. The overall effect is one of emotional intensity and dynamism, reminiscent of the passionate works by abstract expressionists like Jackson Pollock or Willem de Kooning. The piece conveys a sense of raw emotion, energy, and perhaps a reflection of the artist's inner state or the tumultuousness of human experience.
