With “Marsh Sunset”, Syona found her inspiration in the beautiful marsh landscapes, the South Coast of England is so famous for. She is capturing the narrative moment suspended between the final consolidation of stillness and movement, and their dissolution into the soft light of the sunset. However, with Syona, we should never expect meanings to be straightforward - there is always room for a second interpretation, for a different perspective, for a larger view. All you need is to take the time to let it make itself visible to you. For instance, have you noticed the couple emerging from the vegetation and contemplating the sun setting over the water?
