CURATOR’S VIEW: The image presents an abstract painting titled "Shambala," characterized by a harmonious blend of vibrant colours and dynamic brushstrokes. The composition features a central area of milky whites and bright yellows, oranges, and reds, suggesting a fiery core, surrounded by cooler tones of blues, greens, and purples that evokes a sense of ascension. These colours are applied in a layered, swirling pattern that creates a sense of movement and energy. The painting employs a gestural style reminiscent of abstract expressionism, where the emotional impact and the act of painting itself are as important as the final image. The title "Shambala" refers to a mythical kingdom in the Himalayan Mountains, that symbolizes peace, tranquillity, and happiness, which the painting aims to convey through its vibrant and uplifting colours.

ARTIST’S CONCEPT: In creating this piece, I poured my soul into the symphony of cascading colours and textures, laying bare the depth of my emotions on canvas. Every stroke intertwines with the acrylic's fluidity, embodying a dance of passion and serenity—immersing viewers in an abstract, expressionist world where feelings colour the air. Within these layers, I hope to evoke an aura of reflection and tranquillity, infusing any home with the essence of poetic harmony.
